Mike Sherzan is Chairman of the Board of BDFSC Holdings Corp. headquartered in Johnston, Iowa.  BDFSC Holdings Corp. operates three subsidiaries:  Broker Dealer Financial Services Corp. and its divisions IBA Securities & BDF Investments; Bankers Financial Services, LLC, and Investment Advisors Corp.  In addition, Mr. Sherzan is a member of the National Futures Association’s Introducing Broker Advisory Committee, and a past member of the Security Industry Association’s CEO Roundtable, Group E.  Mr. Sherzan holds an MBA degree from the University of Iowa and has over 32 years experience in the securities industry.  He holds the following professional licenses:  FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, 27, 65, and 3, and Life, Annuity & Health insurance licenses. 

   

Lisa Smith is Vice President, Bankers Financial Services, LLC.  Ms. Smith’s focus is on client service, product development, marketing strategies, regulatory contact, accounting guidance, and all business needs for the Index CD program. Prior to joining Bankers Financial Services, LLC, Ms. Smith was Vice President of Client Services for Principal Capital Management. She received her degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Grand View College and has FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and Life, Health and Accident insurance licenses.

   

William Zelasko is Vice President, Bankers Financial Services, LLC.  Mr. Zelasko’s focus is on business development for the Index CD program. Prior to joining Bankers Financial Services, LLC, Mr. Zelasko was Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder for Legent Clearing LLC. He received his degree in Business from DePaul University and has over 25 years experience in the securities industry.  He holds the following professional licenses:   FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

   

Todd W. Garrington is the Sales Manager at Bankers Financial Services, LLC.  Todd focuses on sales assistance, marketing strategies, and national distribution for the Indexed CD programs.  Prior to joining Bankers Financial Services, LLC, he was an Account Manager for Principal Capital Management and has experience in human resources recruiting and the mortgage industry.  Todd received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University.

   

Barb Miller is an Accounting Assistant at Bankers Financial Services, LLC.  Barb focuses on month end accounting reports, product issue reporting, weekly pricing of hedge structures, maturity settlements and many various projects, sales & administrative backup to the index CD team.  Barb’s prior work experience includes resident real estate professional-independent contractor for Iowa Realty, customer service associate for State Farm Insurance, pension issue consultant & project leader for Principal Financial Group.  Barb is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in Finance.

   

Beth Stokes is a Board Member of BDFS Holdings Corp. Ms. Stokes is also CFO for Broker Dealer Financial Services Corp. Prior to joining BDFS in 2007, Ms. Stokes served as Controller for Brokers International, Ltd. Ms. Stokes has her CPA and holds her FINRA Series 27 license. She is a member of the Iowa Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.

   

Lois Brookshire is a Board Member, BDFS Holdings Corp.; Vice President, Fixed Income, and Director of Sales and Marketing, BDFS. Prior to joining BDFSC in July 2002, Ms. Brookshire was with Securities Corporation of Iowa as Fixed Income Trader.  Ms. Brookshire focuses on market development to determine the potential value of fixed income investments. She brings over 20 years experience to BDFSC. Ms. Brookshire’s role includes implementing effective sales and marketing campaigns.  She holds the following professional licenses: FINRA 7, 24, 53, 63, 66, 79, NFA Series 3 and Life and Annuity Insurance licenses.

   

Mike Harken is the IT Manager at Bankers Financial Services, LLC.  Mike has over 15 years experience in the IT field.  Mike has developed, designed and consolidated the network configuration and multiple systems along with security precautions critical to ways everyone affiliated with BDFSC conducts business on a day-to-day basis.

   

Deborah Jackson is a Board Member and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), Senior Vice President, Broker Dealer Financial Services Corp.  Ms. Jackson has over 30 years experience in the brokerage and insurance industry.  Ms. Jackson’s responsibilities include risk management along with ensuring the firm’s written policies and procedures are designed to detect and prevent violations of securities law. Ms. Jackson administers the firm’s Continuing Education Program, and is responsible for both firm and representative regulatory registrations.  Ms. Jackson holds the following securities licenses; Series 4, 7, 24, 53, 55, 63, 65, 79 and Life, Health, Annuity insurance licenses.

   
David Dunn is a Board Member of BDFSC Holdings Corp. Mr. Dunn is also General Counsel and Vice President of Broker Dealer Financial Services Corp. Prior to joining BDFSC in January, 2007, Mr. Dunn was in the private practice of law for over 20 years. His private practice included advising and representing clients in the areas of corporate law and governance, finance, securities regulation and litigation, and broker-dealer regulation and arbitration. Mr. Dunn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration from Drake University and a Juris Doctorate degree from American University’s Washington College of Law.
